What is on your tree service site

  • Removal, trimming, stump grinding, storm cleanup, lot clearing - every tree service on its own line
  • Your phone number on every screen, one tap to call from a driveway with a tree across it
  • A quote form that emails you the job while the homeowner is still looking at the tree
  • Built to be found when someone in your county searches for tree removal or a stump
  • Fast and readable on a phone, which is where a storm call starts, standing in the yard

Every service you offer, on its own line

Each one gets its own heading and its own words, so the homeowner who searched for that exact job lands on something about that exact job.

  • Tree Removal
  • Tree Trimming
  • Stump Grinding
  • Emergency Tree Service
  • Storm Damage Cleanup
  • Crown Reduction
  • Land & Lot Clearing
  • Cabling & Bracing
  • Arborist Consultation

What homeowners actually search for

What a tree service site has to show

  • Storm and emergency work stated up front if you take it, with the number one tap away, since that caller cannot wait for a form.
  • Insured, in plain words, and only because you said so - a homeowner letting a crane near the house asks before anything else.
  • Removal, trimming and stump grinding as three separate sections, because they are three separate searches with three different prices.
  • Photos of crews in trees and trucks with chippers, so the site looks like a working outfit and not a landscaping brochure.
  • Your arborist certification named exactly as you hold it, if you hold one, and nothing implied about it if you do not.
  • The towns and counties you send a crew to, written out, because a bucket truck does not travel for a small trim.

Questions tree service companies ask

Can the site say I take storm calls at night?

Yes, if you tell us you do. Emergency tree service and storm damage cleanup go on their own lines near the top with the number under them, so the homeowner with a limb on the roof calls you at midnight instead of reading. If you only work daylight hours, the site says nothing about emergencies and lists your hours as you gave them. Either way, one plain-English edit from your dashboard changes it.

Homeowners ask if I am insured before anything. Can it say?

It can, and only because you told us. Put your insurance on the form when you build the demo and the site states it near the top, in plain words, where the person nervous about a crane over the garage looks first. We never add insured, licensed or bonded to a site on our own. If you also carry an arborist certification, name it and it appears exactly as you wrote it.

Do stump grinding and removal need to be separate?

They should be. A good share of stump calls come from people who already had a tree cut - by a storm, a neighbor or another crew - and searched for the stump alone. If your site only says tree removal, that search never finds you. On a Titan site, removal, trimming, stump grinding and crown reduction are each their own section with their own words, and the stump caller lands on the stump section.

I clear lots for builders too. Is that on a tree service site?

Yes. Land and lot clearing is on the pre-filled list and gets its own section, written for the builder or landowner rather than the homeowner with one oak. Keep it and the site speaks to both. Drop it and the site is purely residential. If clearing is most of your revenue, say so on the form and it moves up the page. Open the tree service demo above and see how the sections read.
